Ten Million Fireflies - Lily Shan
There is always a
sense
of
peace
where some shadows
emerge to form
such monsters
They breathe and crawl
I walk along the path to the road of
innocence
but the times pass
and the little lights dim
There are flowers
in a field of roses
and I breathe it in
and
all I see is red
Originality in a world where
history
repeats
repeats
repeats
The pen scratches on paper
Loops, curves
formed
with each slight of hand
To be in a land
where pink clouds thrive
floating,
the wind lifts me
But it doesn’t grow dark
nothing has as much power
as the eyes,
the eyes that judge
The complex mind of a simple individual who lives without breathing,
who ages,
and everything throbs to the pulse of its heart
Over Analyzation of the human conscience
where fear mixes with happiness
and guides us
to the kingdom
And the queen,
she welcomes
with laughing hands,
But
do not drink the water if the leaves are still red
Amusement of the race in which
curiosity feeds and explodes
in arrays of
darkness
and
light
And the ring she wears,
it glitters,
but does it shine?
How so is it binding
when they die and rest
only to be woken again in another world
But there is no satisfaction in killing
when all have a capacity
of seeing it
and experiences amount to a peak
where one can step
across
into the sky
They strive to make logic
that it comes easy
but after years
of the mechanics
going back the raindrops slip down
It starts
it starts against the magician
and the colors
The fairies have no particular vases of hopes
and the creation of such items
is
only
satisfactory
The end
The end
The end
The end
must be reached somewhere
when the infinity climbs toward the earth
And I will laugh.
